We are grateful to have you here!Honoring Active Military & Veterans Sacred Heart has created a special display to honor our military members in our congregation. If you are actively in the military, a veteran, or have a veteran in your family, please bring a 5x7 military photo (uniform preferred) and place into the available frames on the display table. Be prepared to complete data card with the following information: Name, Rank, Years Served (date range), and Military Occupational Specialty.

Bring home what's left from the fair stand! We have food for sale in the the church basement at SH. This includes buns, onions, potatoes, potato salad and more! Stop by and check it out!
Thank you to everyone that helped put our float together! Our church was well represented in the parade this year!
The Ladies Guild has Centennial Cookbooks left for sale. They are $20 each. Please continue your efforts to get them sold. This is a joint effort by everyone.

Sacred Heart Cookbooks
Prayer Blanket Project The women of our parish cut blankets for those that are seriously ill or injured. A name is written on the blanket, then placed on a pew for Father to bless. Parishioners are asked to prayer for that person as they tie a knot in one of the strings. It is then given to them to let them know that they are being prayed for by their parish family.Bulletin Requests

“Is anyone among you sick? They should call for the priests of the Church and have them pray over them anointing them with the oil in the name of the Lord. The prayer of the faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise them up; and anyone who has committed sins will be forgiven.” The Church has the great challenge of continuing the work of Jesus’ healing in the world. Please know of the Church’s prayers for you and the one you love who is ill. Someone who is homebound, is a person that is physically unable to attend Church.
To minister to the homebound is to offer them a way to stay united to the Body of Christ through means like prayer, communion and more.

Goal: to ensure that all parishes in the Northeast Deanery have the vision, leadership, resources, and operational foundation necessary to create an effective culture of evangelization that forms intentional disciples, builds communities, and inspires witness.
Mission: is to live and share with others the saving life of Jesus Christ and his Church. Jesus told us to "Go and make disciples" (Matthew 28:19). To do this we seek to help our parishes to create an effective culture of evangelization that form intentional disciples, builds communities, and inspires witness.
Prayer to Our Lady of Guadalupe
Dearest Mother, Our Lady of Guadalupe, you came to our world at a time of great difficulty and darkness, when the people of the Americas needed to know the love and mercy of your Son. You revealed his love and compassion for all peoples. You called them out of darkness into his own wonderful light. You showed us your compassion when you said to Saint Juan Diego, “Am I no here, I, who am your Mother? Let nothing else worry you, disturb you.”
We know you desire that all people come to know the saving love of your Son Jesus Christ, and all that would enter his Church and live as his Children. Inspire us, confident in your intercession, to find ways to reveal his love to those most in need in our communities. Through your intercession and with you as our strength and guide, make us also true missionary disciples.
May we invite everyone to new life through the tender compassion of our God.

We have recently welcomed the Nick and Jocelyn Hanson family and the Taylor and Brittany Salzl families at Mass.

The bishops in their pastoral letter on stewardship warn us about conforming to the destructive "isms" at work in our culture -- materialism, individualism, and consumerism. Stewardship calls us to generously share what we have with others. Stewardship focuses on our dependence on God. This focus goes against our culture's focus on independence and individualism.Dear heavenly Father, as our children return to school, we look again to your eternal faithfulness. Watch over our beloved ones. Let your Spirit go before them to prepare the way and open the doors that lead to your grace. Guide them away from harm. May your mighty Spirit defend them from any aggression or attack. Equip them with discernment and strength of character. Let them be free to live and learn as children of God. Gie us, dear Lord, the wisdom and patience to know when to speak or be still at their parents and caretakers. Always remembering that they are yours from beginning; Their lives a gift to us from Almighty God. We trust in you, we depend upon you, care for your children, Oh heavenly Father. -

Youth across the Diocese of Crookston came together to share in their faith and fellowship this past Wed at Blessed Sacrament, Greenbush. Such a great turnout!
4th Annual Diocese of Crookston Youth Conference (DCYC)!
Join us on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Sanford Center in Bemidji, Minnesota.
We are excited to be joined by Bishop Andrew Cozzens, Kristina Benson, Fr. Joe Kim, and Jon Martin, who will share their faith, witness, and love of Jesus Christ with the young Church.National Catholic Youth Conference
The Diocese of Crookston will be attending NCYC in 2027 in indianapolis.

ComPanis Faith Mentor Formation: Walk Together. Break Bread.Grounded in the USCCB’s Listen, Teach, Send: A National Pastoral Framework for Ministries with Youth and Young Adults. Rooted in the Emmaus narrative. Encountering others on the road, entering their story, and leading them toward the living Christ.
This fall, representatives from the Office of Missionary Discipleship have been meeting— and will continue to meet— with faith formation leaders and pastors in parishes throughout the diocese. Our goal is to accompany each parish at its own pace, working together to shape this vision in a way that responds to the unique needs of each parish community.
Central to Faith Formation for New Life will be encouraging and equipping adults from the parish to accompany the next generation.
